SST26 - STATUS and CONFIGURATION Registers Read and Write

Why is there a Status Register Write command for the SST26VF064B part, when there are no writable bits in this register, however, there are writable bits in the Configuration register, but no Configuration Register Write instruction?

According to the migration document, the 01 command refers to both registers, STATUS and CONFIGURATION. It writes the CONFIGURATION register compared to the write status register command for SST25 in which only the STATUS register was issued (please refer to "FIGURE 2-1: WRITE-STATUS-REGISTER SEQUENCE" of the migration document).
