Multiple COM ports generated after establishing a Bluetooth Classic connection
When using a Bluetooth® classic module (RN42) to connect to a PC, two COM ports are generated. Why?
One COM port is generated for incoming communication and another is generated for outgoing communication. More details about Incoming/Outgoing connections are available in the RN42 module manual ("Bluetooth Data Module Command Reference & Advanced Information User’s Guide") under the "Connecting" section of the "Introduction".
