Recommended material thickness for CAP11xx modules

What is the overlay thickness for CAP11xx modules?

The thickness of the covering material is very important as it affects the sensitivity of capacitive touch systems. The material used is typically glass or plastic and the thickness should be as thin as possible (less than 3 mm is ideal).
