How do you read the EEPROM memory of a PIC18F46J50?

The PIC18F46J50 does not have EEPROM, although the control registers are labeled as EECON and named EEPROM Control Registers, these naming conventions are inherited from devices which incorporate EEPROM.

The Flash Memory in this device can be used similarly to an EEPROM.
