KSZ8863 - Ethernet Switch ESD Issue Mitigation

Make sure the design, where KSZ8863 is involved, has a chassis ground. If the ground at the line side of the magnetics is same as the system ground, this will cause electrostatic discharge (ESD)/surge issues. We recommend adding a chassis ground and using a ferrite bead to isolate between the chassis ground and the system ground. The ferrite bead should be placed far away from the device.
