I received a USB VID and PID via the USB sub-licensing program, what's next?

After obtaining the PID via Microchip's USB sub-licensing program, you need to re-sign or sign the USB drivers for the new PID.

Detailed information can be found in the Microchip Libraries for Applications (MLA). For the MLA version v2016-04-27, the information can be found in paragraph "1.7.5 Driver Signing and Windows® 8" from the document: C:\microchip\mla\v2016_04_27\doc\help_mla_usb.pdf.
