What is the ripple performance if MIC2230 is in forced PWM mode?
The MIC2230, when in forced PWM (FPWM) mode for the lowest output ripple, is a plain constant-frequency peak current mode regulator. It is forced to provide constant switching frequency at 2.5 MHz with synchronous internal MOSFET through the load current. The output ripple in various operating points can be found in Figure 2-14 of the datasheet available on the MIC2230 product page. When the device is in Trickle mode, the output ripple performance can be found in Figure 2-15 of the datasheet.
