What does 'E3' mean in part number LPC47M192-NW-E3?

E3 means the part is lead-free. This notation was first introduced when Microchip had some parts which were not lead-free. We no longer have the E3 distinction on our current parts.

Part number LPC47M192-NW-E3 is obsolete in our system. The lead-free part can be ordered by using part number LPC47M192-NW.
