MPLAB® Harmony Configuration - Error: "... not a valid Harmony directory"

When you create a new MPLAB® Harmony project, you must specify it as a "32-bit MPLAB Harmony Project". When creating a new Harmony project, in the New Project wizard, the first line requires you to specify the path in which Harmony is installed (e.g., C:/microchip/harmony/vx.xx).

Failure to do this generates the following error message when you try to start the MPLAB® Harmony Configurator (MHC): "This project is not in a valid MPLAB Harmony directory hierarchy."
