How do you simulate the RCxREG for UART?

Do the following steps to simulate the RCxREG for UART:

  1. Go to Window > Simulator > Stimulus.
  2. Add a test variable to the RC1REG.
  3. Add the test data into a file and add it to the 'Data Filename' tab.
  4. Press 'Apply synchronous stimulus' (the play button).

Under the 'Help' menu, click on 'Tool Help Contents' and select 'Simulator Help'. There is a section on 'Using Stimulus' that describes the process and gives an example that will help you get a better understanding of the topic.
