Field-programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Design Tools
Libero® is Microchip's Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development environment for FPGAs. Libero has three different tools suites which are downloaded separately. Each Libero suite provides the functionality needed to develop an FPGA including entry, simulation, synthesis, place and route, as well as verification.
The Libero tool suite required depends on the FPGA family being used.
Tools | Supported FPGA Families |
---|---|
Libero SoC PolarFire | PolarFire™ FPGA Family |
Libero SoC | RTG4™, IGLOO®2, SmartFusion®2, SmartFusion, IGLOO, ProASIC®3 and Fusion® families |
Libero IDE | Microsemi antifuse and legacy flash FPGAs |
