How to Use Energy Management Utility Software

Check Device Connection Status

Ensure that the appropriate evaluation board is securely connected to the PC with the USB cable.

Allow sufficient time for the board to enumerate and be assigned a COM port (unless this has been done previously).

Check the Connection Status shown at the lower-left corner of the application.

Start Device Data Sampling

Ensure device status states that the evaluation board is connected to the software.

Visit the "Troubleshooting Energy Management Utility Software" page for further details.

Click Run.

Change the Update Speed

Ensure device status states that the evaluation board is connected to the software.

Click on the Operation menu and navigate to the Set Update Rate option, then select your new update speed.

Customize Displayed Channels

To select your preferred viewing option, click Window from the menu, select Show All, Show First Channel Only, or Show Second Channel Only.

Figure 1 shows an example with only one channel selected.

To return to the default view, select Show All.
