Power Monitor Selection for Data Collection

To set up the Power Monitor, complete the following steps.

Select Trace and Profiling Category

In the Project Properties window, click the Real ICE category and select Trace and Profiling in the Option categories drop-down.

Set Up Data Collection

Under Data Collection Selection, select Power Monitor (Target Power Sampling).

Note: When the Power Monitor is selected, other types of data collection will not be available.

Set up the data file to capture data collection information using Data File Path and Name. Click on the Data File Maximum Size (bytes) option to see more under the option description.

Note: You can increase the file size to collect data for a longer graph, but after halting the display, it will take longer to render.

Click OK.

Next Step: Select Other Options

Depending on how you will use the Power Monitor, you will need to select other options. See Power Monitor Usage.
