Dock and Undock Windows in MPLAB® X IDE

Most of the tabs/panes within MPLAB®'s main IDE window can be undocked from the main window. In this state, they are contained in their own floating window that can be moved outside of the main IDE window. This is especially useful when working with multiple displays. You can dock the window back inside the main IDE window anytime.
