802.11/Wi-Fi® Fundamentals

 Abstract

This self-paced training module will help you develop a basic working knowledge of 802.11/Wi-Fi® networks (structure and function), as well as some basic design considerations when integrating Wi-Fi into an embedded application.

Detailed information on security protocols, physical layer signaling, framing, and protocols for mitigating interference (Request to Send (RTS)/Clear to Send (CTS) signaling, etc.) are left for self-study. See the References section at the end of the module.
