dsPIC® Architectural Enhancements

Microchip's dsPIC® Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs) provide several architectural enhancements to the 16-bit PIC® MCU family:

  • Two-data buses for simultaneous access to X and Y data
  • Two 40-bit accumulators with overflow and saturation options
  • Additional instructions for Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Operations
  • Bit-reverse and Modulo Addressing Options
