Make and Program Fails Using theAC162049 Universal Programming Module

The following techniques have been successful in restoring operation to this programmer:

  • Disconnect the R1 resistor on the AC162049 or remove it completely.
  • If removing the R1 resistor doesn't solve the problem, connect a ~ 10 kΩ resistor between pin PGM of the device and GND.
