I²C Address Setting for CAP1114

How can the I²C address be set for the CAP1114 capacitive sensing device?

The I²C address is hard-coded in the device itself. The default address mentioned in the datasheet is valid for CAP1114-1 and there is no other available option for the I²C address. For older devices, there is no multiple address option.

CAP1114-2 is a new version that was created with different/multiple addresses. The -2 version went through the process of verification of the production test program and was released to production. CAP1114-2 is available through microchipDIRECT.
