What is the data throughput for Bluetooth®?

The BM77 and RN4677 modules are identical, except for the interface method.

According to the RN4677 datasheet, which is available on the product's landing page, the data throughput is:

  • 50 kb (Classic on Android™)
  • 8 kb (LE on iOS 7)

According to the BM78 datasheet, which is available on the product's landing page, the data throughput at 1 Mbps UART baud rate is:

  • BR/EDR: up to 32 Kbps
  • LE: up to 7 Kbps

The data throughput at 115200 bps UART baud rate is:

  • BR/EDR: up to 10 Kbps
  • LE: up to 6 Kbps
