How do you connect GND on an AC Induction Motor on a dsPICDEM™ MCHV development board?

The motor's protective ground (GND) needs to be connected to the ground point of the power supply. When you plug in the demo board, you need to connect the single phase supply as well as the earth pin from your supply. This allows the motor's protective GND to be connected to the terminal marked 'EARTH' on the demo board.

Use a multimeter to confirm that the earth pin on the demo board is connected to the earth pin of the main supply. Adhere to all safety standards.
