When can I send a new command over UART on RN4xxx Bluetooth® modules?
On Microchip Bluetooth® modules which communicate over UART, we recommend waiting for the module to respond to a previous command before sending a new command (i.e., receive acknowledge with the appropriate response).
For example, for the RN4871 module, a command response looks like this:
- Command: S-,MyDevice // set device name
- Response: AOK // success, ERR // Syntax error or invalid parameter
