New Replacement or Migration for an Old KSZ Part

The KSZ9021 is now shown as "Not recommended for new designs". The alternative suggested is the KSZ9031 and I would like to switch to this device. Is it a direct replacement, or are there any circuit alterations required?

On the KSZ9021 product page, the recommended alternative is the KSZ9031. Under 'Migration Documents', the "KSZ9021RN to KSZ9031RNX Migration Guide Document" can help you migrate from the older to the newer device.
