Step 7: With MHC, Configure System Time Service and Timer

Add the Time system service from the Available Components window under Harmony > System Services > TIME.

The PLIB Used field will be auto-populated once connected to a source timer.

Attach the Core Timer as a source for the Time module.

Right-click on the red diamond next to TMR. From the Satisfiers list, select CORE TIMER (core_timer).

Note: Core Timer is configured by default with a timer period of 1 millisecond.
