Application Migration Using a Board Support Package for Harmony v2
Embedded developers today are challenged not only with developing an application with constraints of time and resources but also having an application that works across multiple display platforms, each using different graphical displays, controllers, and microcontrollers. This video demonstrates how the MPLAB® Harmony Software Framework can enable the migration of an application, in three easy steps:
- Create a new project configuration in the same project.
- Choose the Board Support Package (BSP) for the new graphical display and clock settings for the new microcontroller.
- Configure the drivers and libraries for the application—generate, build, and compile.
The award-winning MPLAB Harmony Framework, along with the MPLAB Harmony Configurator (MHC) GUI, can enable application migration across boards: containing different microcontrollers, displays, and graphics controller options, without the need to write a single line of code! This saves the developer time and resources.
