MOSFET Drivers

What Are MOSFET Drivers?

MOSFET drivers are interface devices that interface the low-voltage, low-power inputs from an MCU or Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), to a large capacitance, with fast switching times. It produces a high-current drive input for the gate of a high-power transistor such as an Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) or Power MOSFET.
