What is Contained in DFPs?

DFP Contents

The following folder listing shows some of the sub-folders that are inside a DFP directory:

dfp-contents.png

These folders contain content that is used by various tools in the MPLAB X IDE ecosystem and are generally of no interest to the MCU application developer.

The only folders that may be of interest to the application developer are the include folder, which contains the MCU peripheral header files, the xc32 folder, which contains the linker script files, and the xc.h file. The content in these folders is normally accessed by the IDE and compiler when building a project.
