The following functions are available from menu items on the MPLAB® Remote USB Communications Server application or MPLAB X IDE.

Log | Logging of IDE traffic (for debug purposes) can be turned on and off and can be directed to either the screen or to a log file. The "Safe Log" feature simply indicates that the log file will be opened, written to, and then closed on each entry posted to the log. Under almost all circumstances the log should be turned off. When the log is on, it slows the Ethernet traffic significantly and may even result in lost data and/or timing errors. |
Exit | Exit from the remote server. Under certain circumstances, this will not be allowed until the server is stopped. |
Help Menu | |
