Options Window: General

To access the Options window, select from the main menu: Tools > Options (Windows® and Linux®)
mplab_ide > Preferences (macOS®)

The General category is where you can select the Web Browser, Proxy Settings, and if you want MPLAB® X to send usage data to NetBeans.

The defaults are:

  • Default System Browser
  • Use System Proxy Settings
  • Do Not Send Usage Data
